Hanging The Weapons.
Beth starts walking slowly as she holds her shoulders with one of her hands while the other one is at her side.
Vinny: You’re still alive Betty?
Rudolph had every intent of getting up, but he couldn’t, if he did, he would endanger another innocent life.
Rudolph: Dear…what the hell are you doing?
Beth however, didn’t respond, she only continued walking slowly to them, and as Vinny’s men got ready to jump at her, he stabbed another one of his men directly into the throat, causing the rest to stand back for their impulses.
Vinny: Not a hand on her, this is sure to be interesting.
Beth stood besides Rudolph, and looked at Vinny’s eyes, being darker than the abyss, she responded with pity in her voice to this killer.
Beth: Poor soul…please hear the plead of an old woman and let the young child go, if blood must be spelt on this night, it shouldn’t be hers.
Vinny: Are you feeling bad about not saving the rest, you are willing to toss your pathetic life for this brat? No wonder you two are together.
Vinny stood in silence with a malicious smile as he stared at Lucia’s with dagger in his neck, and slowly, but surely pull the dagger towards his side and let out a subtle sigh.
Vinny: She’s such a cutie too, shame, I just have to accept your deal.
Rudolph immediately turned towards Vinny and tried to stand up, but before he could all he could feel was the heel of Vinny put him deeper into the ground, causing a crater to form.
Vinny: WHO TOLD YOU TO GET UP YOU FUCKING MUTTON?!
The immeasurable pain came over Rudolph as he continued to eat dirt while being forced to see Vinny still holding Lucia in his arms, this time however, the dagger once held at Lucia’s neck was now being held in front of Beth as both Vinny and her stood in silence watching the other.
Vinny: Cut from the same cloth you two…
Do you want retribution for your actions or his?
Beth only stood in silence as Vinny let go of Lucia, who fell to the floor, right besides Rudolph, were she immediately tried to check on him.
Lucia: Mister Rudolph!
However, Vinny slowly got his right feet up towards Lucia while her back was against him
Vinny: Sorry, can’t have you disturbing.
As soon as he finished saying those words, he let go of the foot that hold Rudolph’s face against the ground and he immediately tried kicking Lucia, but before his kick hit her, Rudolph muster some of his strengths and stood in between her and Vinny, grabbing there in between his arms before being launched scrapping against the floor towards his men.
Beth: What are you doing?!
Vinny: Relax you old bitch, I said I would spare the girl, I never said anything about your dearest husband.
Rudolph begins to move, revealing that Lucia suffered slight injuries to her body and that although she’s a little scared, she’s seems to be doing fine physically.
Lucia’s shriek causes Rudolph to be concern until he realizes the cause of it, and as he looks above him, he is able to see only because of the brief thunder that there a barrage of bandits coming to him.
Although this wasn’t his first time in this exact same situation, although last time, she was there to end it before he couldn’t wield his sword no longer, but this would not happen again, as such he could not let Lucia’s life end;
NOT LIKE THIS.
The barrage of bandits came one after the other, and with his last remnants, Rudolph stood against the never-ending storm to protect those innocent lives he was taught not to care for, not to defend for; Not to sacrifice for.
Beth could only stare in shock as he saw Rudolph being surrounded by the bandits and the blood was spilt, however, this was not his.
As every single one of Vinny’s man came, they would be struck down again, Rudolph continued to wield his sword until it was to dull to cut anymore, so he bashed the head in of one of the bandits and picked up the daggers off the corpses, all while Lucia was shielded underneath him.
Vinny: It’s such a shame he’s now one of “those” people, that raw tenacity is something else, unfortunately…
As if on queue with his words, we see a bandit managing to hit him with one of the dagger on his backside, Rudolph immediately tosses this same person, but not before another one lands another hit on his right rib.
Beth falls to the floor in an attempt trying to go to Rudolph, her strength is drained from moving the rubbish in their house, to the hit on the basement; It was to much toll on her frail body, and as she scrapped herself towards Rudolph, Vinny walked besides her.
Vinny: Unless you want to receive a front row of the murder of your husband, you should stop.
Beth struggled to speak as she continued to crawl towards Rudolph.
Vinny: Are you deaf now?
Beth: N-not that…
Vinny turned himself towards her after hearing her answer where he was confronted with her eyes instead.
Beth: What pushed…a little boy so far…to do this..?
Vinny was bewildered by Beth question as she looked into him while he slowly crouched to her.
Vinny: Is that the answer you seek before death?
Vinny’s smile grows larger as the fear in Beth begins to slowly show itself.
Beth: You can…stop all of this…
Vinny slightly chuckles at the request.
Vinny: And why would I do that?
Beth: Because…you dont want…this…
Vinny kicks Beth in the face, causing her to stop crawling.
Vinny: What I want is my part of the deal.
Vinny from there makes a cut of Beth’s stomach, the blood beings to flow alongside the intestines of Beth, after a few seconds he continues to stare into her eyes and the brightness of these begin to fade slowly, she musters her strength to extend one of her hands towards Lucia and Rudolph.
Beth: God…please help them…little…star…
Vinny responds after she finishes struggling her words.
Vinny: God is the person who decides who lives and who dies at will.
As soon as those words left her mouth, her hands fall onto the stained floor as thunder sounds through the wind.
Vinny gets up to look at the remains of his men, who all lay dead before him while Rudolph hugs Lucia.
Lucia: Mister Rudolph…I’m scared…
Vinny slowly walks towards them with dagger in hand while his maniacal smile forms anew under a new coloring on the floor.
Rudolph however, doesn’t respond, he instead moves slightly in front of her, stepping between Vinny once more.
Vinny: You truly are a one-army men, Rudolph Banister, if only you knew how to leave your principles, you could’ve saved your family.
Rudolph stares behind of Vinny with a dead face, before looking back at Vinny while blood runs down his eyes towards the many holes made to him from Vinny’s bandits.
Rudolph: It will be fine…she’s here…to protect us…
Vinny pushes Rudolph onto the streets as the frail man with no strength gives himself in and falls towards the corpses of his many victims, all of them with their eyes opened as e could do nothing but stare back at them.
Rudolph: I’m so sorry…
Blood continues to run through Rudolph eyes.
Vinny: You beg for forgiveness, yet that didn’t stop you from killing them.
Rudolph: I’m…sorry…please…forgive me…my love.
Vinny struck a dagger into Rudolph’s neck immediately after he finished saying those words while Lucia could only stare in fright of what trespassed.
Vinny: Well, that takes care of those two, shall we get going?
I recognize you.
Vinny turned as his guard went immediately up, Lucia was able to recognize that voice and she immediately took a step back as she saw at the end of the streets an man standing upright while looking at both of them.
You stole my joy of killing them all.
The beast reveals the head they were holding before tossing it to the ground, causing the smile in Vinny to grow even wider.
I’m going to have so much fun in killing you.
Rudolph’s sight finally gives out after seeing his son for a final time.
